72 Combat Restoration

Postby Chip on Wed Sep 30, 2009 8:08 am

Hi, new to this forum and thought I'd post a photo of my '72 Commando. I've owned the bike for 31 years and just did a frame-up restoration this past year. I live in the St. Petersburg area and looking to meet up with other Brit / Euro bike owners to get together for weekend rides up to the Brooksville/San Antonio/Dade City area.

Some of the bike features include the original Paul Dunstall fairing, tank and seat kit installed by the P.O. in 1977, Avon Roadriders (Love 'em!!), new Mikuni flat slide carb (TM34), Clubman rearsets, Tomaselli clipons, and CRG bar ends.

There's a very good chance you saw me on the Gandy. Every Thursday night a group of Brit/Euro bike owners get together at Kahuna's. Actually, I need to stop by an see you and the gang at M.A.P. one of these days.
